Hello fellow Ronin Warriors/Yoroiden Samurai Trooper fans!

Happy New Year, and welcome to 2018. Did everyone see Sunrise's New Years Card? They remembered this year is the 30th Anniversary for the Yoroiden Samurai Troopers and created an awesome New Year Card!

Amazing, right? I hope it provides some inspiration for our fanzine project! Here we go with this month's updates:

1. Communication Udate and Reminder

If you haven't yet, please take the Google Forms communication survey: three clicks, less than 30 seconds of your time is all it takes to make sure you stay up to date on the project's progress!

And if you like to use Tumblr on a daily basis, we now have an account! Follow the project at samuraitroopersfanzine.tumblr.com. I'm also keeping an eye on my deviantart account, and can respond to any questions there as well.

2. New Website

We have a new website that now houses all the information about the project. There's an updated list of specs for both artists and writers. Visit it to see the updated specs for art and prose. Be sure to let me know if you have any questions.

3. Project Progress

Now that we're in January 2018, there's just three months left to get submissions in for the Fanzine. That's twelve weeks if you prefer to count it that way, so it's time for a check in!

Artists: how is/are your illustration/s coming along? Need any feedback or ideas? I'm happy to help! It's totally understandable if your first submitted idea is no longer achievable, but there's still time to simplify or change your mind. One complete image is always better than none. Let me know how you're doing!

Writers: how's your prose turning out? We have some volunteer beta-readers if you're interested in having the drafts proofread. And if you do have a first draft done or nearly done, let me know how many words it is so far. It'll be a great help in planning the layout of the book.

Lastly, don't forget about your bio, max of 300 words.
